Product details
Brand: Adbri
Hydrated Lime in a 20kg bag — Adbri hydrated lime — the plasticiser that makes mortar workable and forgiving.
What it's used for
- Brick and block mortar (the 6:1:1 mix)
- Render coats
- Heritage and lime mortar work
How much you need
Standard mortar is 6 sand : 1 cement : 1 lime by volume.
Yard tip: Lime is what lets a mortar joint flex slightly instead of cracking. Leaving it out is a false economy.
