Bulk - Gardeners Choice Mulch

Jeffries Gardeners Choice Mulch is made from 100% green organic material — garden prunings and tree loppings — put through a controlled aerobic composting process. The result is a medium-grade mulch with a natural look that does real work in the soil, not just on top of it.

Key features

• Australian Organic certified and produced to AS 4454
• Weed seed and pathogen free — the composting heat process sterilises the material
• Conditions your soil for up to 12 months as it breaks down
• Strong matting properties that suit slopes and exposed, windy positions
• Reduces erosion and evens out soil temperature swings

Typical analysis

Organic matter 40–50%, pH 6.5–7.5, bulk density 0.25–0.35 tonne per m³.

Landscaper's tip: Because this mulch actively composts down, top it up annually. That's a feature, not a fault — each season's breakdown is feeding the bed underneath.
