Bulk - Red Gum

Red gum is the benchmark firewood in South Australia and it earns the reputation. It's one of the densest hardwoods available, which means more heat per barrow load, a longer burn, and a bed of coals that will still be alive in the morning.

Why red gum

How much to order

A tonne of split red gum is roughly 1.3–1.5 cubic metres stacked, and will typically run a household combustion heater for four to six weeks of regular winter use.

Yard tip: Stack it off the ground with air gaps and a cover over the top but open sides. Firewood stacked against a damp wall or sealed under a tarp reabsorbs moisture and burns cold and smoky.
