Hardware - GREEN GARDEN STAKE 1.8M INDIV

A green coated garden stake in 1.8m. Stiffer and longer-lived than bamboo, with a smooth coating that won't chafe ties or splinter in your hand. Sold individually, so there's no buying a pack of ten to stake three plants.

Details

• 1.8m length, sold individually
• Green coated for a low-visibility finish in planting
• Suits young trees, espaliers and tall climbers

Staking tip: Two stakes either side of a young tree, with a soft tie in a figure-eight, beats a single stake tied hard against the trunk. The tree needs to move a little — that's what builds trunk strength.
