Hire - LAWN LEVEL - 4HRS

A lawn leveller (or lute) drags topdressing evenly across a lawn so the sand falls into the hollows and off the high spots. It's the tool that turns a bumpy lawn into a flat one without smothering the grass.

What people use it for

• Spreading topdressing sand or 80/20 loam

Sizing the job

Work in thin passes — 10 to 15mm of topdressing at a time — and drag in two directions.

Yard tip: Never bury the leaf blade. If you can't see grass through the topdressing, you've put too much on and the lawn underneath will yellow off.
