Orange builders film is the vapour barrier that goes under a concrete slab. The colour is the standard site identifier for a slab underlay membrane, and the 200um thickness is what most residential slab specifications call for.

Trade tip: Tape every lap and every penetration. A membrane with holes in it is a membrane that isn't doing anything, and you only get one chance before the pour.
